Homeschool Hilarity

The younger four children and I are studying the Middle Ages in history. Today I was discussing Justinian the Great with the children.

I said, 'when he was a boy, Justinian set out for Constantinople to find his uncle. It was a difficult and dangerous journey, taking several weeks. He had to go through dark forests and cross rivers and HIGH HILLS." (this of course was said in my southern accent).

To which son Viktor inquired: 'Why would he be in HIGH HEELS????????'

HAHAAHA! I love that guy!

What's YOUR funny homeschooling stories?
